The General Assembly of the Conference of Evangelical Churches in Israel, which comprises mainly Arab speaking churches in the State of Israel and is a member of the MENA region of the World Evangelical Alliance, assembled in Bethlehem in the real world. The seat of CECI is in Jerusalem. The SG was invited to speak to the assembly on zoom on the situation of Evangelical Alliances around the globe and major trends and shifts within global Christianity. The SG promised to visit both Israel and the Palestine Authorities as soon as the covid19 rules allow it.
The invitation had been given by Botrus Mansour, Chair of CECI, and Jack Sara, General Secretary of the MENA Evangelical Alliance.
