In Lindau, Germany, Thomas Schirrmacher discussed with Jonathan Granoff, President of the Global Security Institute, the threat of nuclear weapons and the need to ban all nuclear weapons. Together Granoff and Schirrmacher formulated a letter to the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, even though both have not been appointed finally yet. The letters will be send, once the two positions have been decided on by the incoming new government of Germany. (Update: the two letters were sent December 30, 2021.)
